About Jessie
I am a student at Liverpool University with A grade A levels in Chinese, English and history. My main interest and focus of knowledge is in Chinese culture, anthropology and history over Mao Zedong’s rule, 1949-1976. Other extra curricular interests and experiences of mine involve human rights and protest for minority groups.

When learning Chinese, three aspects of the language need to be mastered: grammar, tone and vocabulary. Depending on the student’s level, each lesson, new words, grammar points and sentence structures will be introduced through situational dialogue. For example, an exchange in a shop or greeting a friend. Perfecting a language is best done when the methodology is tailored to the student, so that can be discussed in the introductory lesson.
