About Louisa
I've just finished an Oxford degree studying English, but at A Level I also took Maths, Chemistry and History - I'm interested in a bit of everything! (I actually regretted not doing Physics at A Level, but that's another story...) I started tutoring over five years ago, when I was in sixth form, and quickly found that I loved it - it was great to see someone go from feeling anxious about a subject to feeling confident and enjoying it! I'm a big believer that everyone has a different way of studying, and for lots of people - for whatever reason - this just isn't unlocked in a classroom. I want to help students learn the way they learn best, and have fun doing it!

I have been tutoring for over 5 years, and am skilled in delivering highly focused, productive lessons in a short space of time to achieve maximum potential - this is particularly useful when exam season is coming up! I also have extensive experience working with individual students for extended periods to achieve long-term goals.
I teach one-on-one and small group lessons, tailoring lessons to each student's individual way of learning. I offer 60 to 90 minute lessons (with a 5 minute break when needed), with a strong focus on enthusiasm and encouragement! I cover Maths and English from age 10 up to GCSE level.
