About Vera

I am a third year undergraduate student in the French studies program. Through being the director of the foreign language department at a non-profit organization, I have had experience teaching students French, creating lesson plans and overseeing work of the other teachers.

About the lesson

My teaching methods are based partly on linguistics and phonology to help you really understand the structures of the language and understand how to be able to pronounce more native like. I explain grammar points in depth first and focus on the weakest points of students and then I give students situations to practice in. I focus on the conversation aspect a lot and helping people let go of their fear of making mistakes and using their language to the fullest.

I have known Vera for over one year now and I had the honour and pleasure to have taught French to students with her. I can only say positive things about what she accomplished and how she works. One of the major qualities that she has is her trustworthiness. She will always make sure that the job is done properly by respecting deadlines, even in difficult situations when she might have other occupations. This is a great quality that will definitely make her an amazing teacher. I strongly recommend Vera.
