About Owyn
I’m currently studying French at the University of Cambridge, and I’m passionate about helping others learn the language. I achieved an A star in A-level French and a Grade 9 in GCSE French. I bring both academic knowledge and real enthusiasm to my teaching. I have experience tutoring students at various levels and can provide structured support, whether you're just starting out or preparing for exams. I genuinely love speaking French in my free time, whether it's reading, watching films, or chatting with friends. I’d love to see more people choosing to study French, especially as it opens so many doors—academically, culturally, and professionally. That’s one of the big reasons I teach: to share my enthusiasm, help others feel confident, and show that French can be fun, useful, and deeply rewarding.

My teaching style is student-focused and adaptable. I tailor each lesson to suit the learner’s individual goals, pace, and preferred learning style. If you are a school student then I will tailor it to the appropriate level and exam board. I place a strong emphasis on speaking, listening, and practical use of the language, alongside grammar and vocabulary. Lessons often include interactive exercises, real-world materials (like articles and videos), and regular feedback to build confidence and fluency.
