About Malika

I hold a Masters in French Literature and have 10 years experience as a French Tutor.

French is my first language, however I received a Certificate of Bilingualism in 2016 and am equally comfortable in English.

Having worked as a Teaching Assistant, tutor, language laboratory monitor and instructor - I am thankful to do what I love, teaching!

About the lesson

Each student is different depending on their background and their way of learning. From primary school students to adults, my classes cater to the student. Depending on their level of French and the area of concentration desired (comprehension, oral expression, writing, grammar, etc.), the class outlines will be created & modified to better suit each individual student.
Whether you are a government employee wishing to improve your French or a high school student looking for a tutor, your needs come first.

I believe a good teacher has the ability to explain complicated things in a simple way, rendering education accessible to all. I will go above and beyond to guarantee that my students understand the lessons being taught and make great strides in their progress.
Learning a new language should not be intimidating or unpleasant - if there is a place to make mistakes and grow from our errors it is surely in the classroom!

She’s the best ! I was so worried about passing my course but Malika made sure I was fully prepared. I actually did very well in my course instead of just passing ! She is a very caring and thoughtful teacher. She makes sure to get to know your needs and accommodates them. I’m a visual learner, so she made our lessons interactive and easy to understand. I definitely recommend her if you’re struggling with a course or even just to make sure you get that A !

I have known Malika for 6 years and she is a wonderful, educated person with a passion for helping others. She is an excellent teacher and is knowledgeable about communication, different learning styles, and teaching techniques. She has helped many people learn French, and I cannot recommend a better French teacher/tutor. If all my old French teachers were like her, I would have mastered the language a long time ago! Would recommend her to anyone.
