About Maud

-online class only - Hi! I’m a native French speaker from France, and I just arrived in Melbourne. I’m here for an internship as part of a prestigious double Master’s degree in engineering and business from two top French schools: Centrale Nantes and Audencia Business School. I’m passionate about languages, education, and sharing knowledge. I’ve always enjoyed helping others learn and feel confident, and teaching French is a way for me to connect with people while sharing my culture and language. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to improve your conversation, I adapt my lessons to your level, goals, and learning style. My approach is kind, structured, and flexible, always tailored to your needs.

About the lesson

As a native French speaker and a graduate of a prestigious double Master’s program in France (engineering & business), I combine academic excellence with a real passion for languages and teaching.

My goal is to help you feel confident and motivated. I adapt each lesson to your level, your goals, and your learning style, whether you’re a complete beginner, preparing for an exam, or looking to refine your conversational skills.

Having lived, studied, and worked internationally, I understand the challenges of learning a new language. That’s why I create a safe and encouraging space, where making mistakes is part of the process and progress comes naturally.

Let’s make learning French both effective and enjoyable

I look forward to meeting you!

Perfect! * I have an ‘intermediate’ level of French, and can generally read simple newspaper articles and follow intermediate level French podcasts (eg Coffee Break French and Little Talk in Slow French). However my command of spoken French is not very good, which I hope to improve through conversation sessions with native French speakers such as Maud.
* I was impressed with Maud’s professional approach to our first conversation session. She came prepared with a written plan for the session, and we discussed objectives etc - but she was also was very flexible in allowing the session to progress according to topics of mutual interest.
* Maud picked me up on many and various grammar points and gave clear explanations, which were very helpful in improving my understanding of grammar as well as pronunciation and conventions of spoken French. I’m looking forward to our next lesson!
