About Bhiejay
Greetings! I am Bhie Jay, and I am currently a 4th year Civil Engineering student studying at the University of Mindanao. Being in school has enabled me to develop a strong background in math and problem solving skills that I want to impart to others.
I may be new in the professional tutoring field, but for as long as I can remember, whenever my peers had problems with their math class, I had always taken it upon myself to help them out. I loved making things easier for them and watching them grasp the lessons was such a fulfilling experience in my academics. This is the reason why I decided to venture into tutoring.
I endeavor to build up an atmosphere of patience, encouragement, and support in which the student feels free to ask questions and learn through his mistakes. Every student is different and learns in his own unique way, which is why my tutoring style adjusts accordingly.

I believe that every student can succeed in mathematics when lessons are tailored to their pacing and delivered in a supportive environment. My teaching approach focuses on making complex concepts simple by breaking them down into smaller, easy-to-understand steps. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and actively participate throughout each lesson, helping them build both confidence and problem-solving skills.
In my fourth year of Civil Engineering studies, I have gained a solid background in mathematics from subjects like Calculus, Differential Equations, Engineering Mathematics, and Statistics. Aside from studying math, I have frequently assisted my peers in comprehending their math classes when they had trouble understanding them. One of the most fulfilling moments for me has always been to explain things to them in an easier manner and see them feel confident in comprehending the subject matter.
It is my endeavor to provide a nurturing learning experience that encourages students to ask questions, make errors, and learn at their own pace. My teaching sessions take place online through discussion and problem solving to make learning fun for the learners.
