About Dupe
I can still remember the days I would walk into my Grade 10 Math class and ask myself: "What in the world are we going to learn today?" I understand the anxiety of learning 'Oxidation Rules' for the first time or trying to calculate an angle of incidence (with all the correct sig figs of course). High school mathematics and sciences can become difficult as you progress. I am here to lessen the burden. With study hacks, organization and scheduling tips and mental health advice, I can ensure you will have a better academic experience and accomplish your future goals.
As for me, I love helping others. It is a beautiful feeling. I tutored at my high school, helping Grade 9 & 10 students with Science. I have also worked with elementary students in French.
I aspire to become a Molecular Biologist and create treatments for deadly diseases so the world can be a healthier place. I love learning biology and chemistry as there are so many distinct fields in the two major subjects. One can never not learn something new.
I also enjoy baking/cooking, yoga and going out for walks.

First, we would start off with your strengths and weaknesses. What areas are you most familiar with and what topics do you struggle with? That will help me to narrow down the actual issues so we can focus on necessary improvement. Then, we will break down each topic you do not understand on a Jamboard/whiteboard. This will give us both the chance to truly see errors and confusion. You can also ask questions and we can work through sample problems. Lastly, we will develop study methods and habits that you can use individually.
