About Rachelle
Hi! I'm a passionate math tutor who achieved straight A grades in Algebra 10 through 30, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus and won awards for my achievements in Algebra and Calculus.
I've always been passionate about Math, from winning school awards to mastering calculus, however I chose to pursue a career in the Medical Health Field. With that I now do tutoring on the side to keep my passion for math strong.
I know math can be challenging, but with the right approach it can actually be rewarding and sometimes even fun. My lessons are patient and engaging and tailored to each student which has served me well so far.

My focus is on making math logical and easy to understand for middle and high schoolers. I know that each child learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to each student's pace and needs. My goal is not only to help students complete homework, but to build confidence and long-term understanding when it comes to Algebra 10, 20, and 30, Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus.
I use a simple step by step process and tailor it based on the child's needs.
Step 1: Introduce the Concept - I start by explaining the theory in simple terms.
Step 2: Practice Problems - We work through a number of example problems together where I walk them through exactly how to solve each problem and common mistakes that I see often.
Step 3: Individual Practice - The student will then try a number of problems on their own where they are free to ask any and unlimited amounts of questions.
Step 4: Recap - We go through a quick recap of the material that we covered again with questions being encouraged.
My lessons are ideal for students who want to improve grades, understand concepts more fully, or prepare for exams.
