About Natasha
I was born in America with Australian and Japanese nationality. I was previously a lawyer and am currently studying education (specialising in English and Visual Arts). I've assisted fellow students with their university assessments and have experience in advising/instructing throughout my legal career. Contrary to popular belief about lawyers, I am a friendly and approachable person who genuinely wants to help others.

I believe teachers and students play an equally active role in the learning process. I facilitate the learning process with patience and understanding. My goal is for every student to fully comprehend what they are learning, as opposed to mere short term retention of information. Each lesson generally starts with an introduction of what we will cover (what the student needs to know and be able to do by the end of the lesson) and an assessment of the student's current knowledge and capabilities. We then undertake tailored activities to develop an understanding of the content. This usually involves showing students how something is done, then working through an example together, and finally allowing the students to practice it on their own. We will work through various activities using different approaches until the student is able to demonstrate an understanding of the content. At the end of the lesson, we review the content covered to ensure comprehension.
