About Krisha
Hello! I'm Krisha, a dedicated and enthusiastic IT graduate student with a strong passion for teaching. With several years of experience as an assistant teacher and tutor, I’ve had the opportunity to work with students from Grade 1 to 12, helping them build confidence and improve their understanding in math, science, and computer studies. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and am currently pursuing my Master’s in Applied Computing in Canada. Alongside my academic journey, I’ve worked on real-world projects, participated in research, and mentored students in engaging, hands-on ways. I believe that learning should be enjoyable, approachable, and personalized. I’m patient, adaptable, and always committed to making sure my students feel supported and motivated. As a passionate IT graduate student with a strong academic background and hands-on teaching experience, I focus on making complex concepts simple and enjoyable for students. My lessons are designed to be interactive, engaging, and tailored to each student’s pace and learning style.
My teaching methodology blends real-life examples with visual aids and problem-solving exercises to help students understand and retain core concepts in math, science, and computer studies. I believe in building a strong foundation, encouraging curiosity, and boosting confidence through consistent practice and positive reinforcement.
A typical lesson includes a quick recap of the previous session, introduction of new topics with examples, guided practice, and a short quiz or discussion to reinforce learning. I also adapt lessons based on school curriculum and student goals, whether it's homework help, test preparation, or skill-building.
I specialize in teaching students from Grade 1 to Grade 12 and offer support for school subjects as well as basic programming or computer skills. My previous roles as an assistant teacher and my background in technology allow me to connect well with students and make learning both effective and fun.
