About Mahtab
Having recently completed my A-Levels, achieving all A* grades, means that I thoroughly understand my students' positions. Studying Biology, Chemistry and Maths at A-Level means that I can highlight interconnections between the subjects and help students strengthen their lateral thinking skills.
For the past year I have tutored students at GCSE and Year 9 level at varying degrees of competency, thus I have a flexible, student-orientated approach to my teaching. I focus on developing a strong fundamental understanding of key principles, which in turn, allows a better grasp of higher level concepts, often by linking ideas to real-life and personal examples. I place an emphasis on consistent and focused study whilst sprinkling in some fun!
