About April
I’m a maths and physics tutor with an undergraduate degree in Physics from King’s College London, where I graduated with First Class Honours. I’m passionate about learning and about building meaningful connections with students.
I want to teach because I know what a huge difference the right teacher can make. A good teacher can transform a subject that once felt daunting and stressful into one that students feel confident and even excited to engage with. Education plays a vital role in shaping young people’s futures, and I want to help students reach their full potential.
I’m also a fluent Mandarin speaker and have experience working with many ESL students. I particularly enjoy helping international students who may be struggling with English to feel more comfortable and confident in their studies. Moving to a new country can already be challenging, so let's make school a little easier.
