About Avi
As a kid, reading and math were always my favorite subjects. I always had my head in a book, whether it be a fantasy book or a workbook. Going into high school, I explored math much more. I took Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Calculus BC, and Calculus 3. In the meantime, playing bass for the orchestra and jazz band remained a constant factor in my life. I also tutored my younger brother in middle school-level topics in math, history, and science. Now, having spent a semester at Rutgers, I stay in touch with mathematics through online games like "24" and math competitions with my friends. Feel free to reach out for more information!

I teach in the way that I like to learn --- fun, engaging, and explanatory.
I've refined my teaching by giving lessons in math, history, and science to my younger brother every single day for the past five years, and every student of mine will be treated like family as well.
My main area of focus would be mathematics (algebra, geometry, precalculus, calculus), as well as SAT and AP exam tutoring.
I can also do double bass lessons online --- I've been playing for over eight years, and have secured multiple regional and statewide accolades.
