About Kyle
I'm an FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) offering personalized, one-on-one aviation tutoring for student pilots and certificated pilots who want additional help understanding the material, preparing for a checkride, or simply becoming more knowledgeable and confident pilots.
My tutoring is designed to **supplement your existing flight training**, not replace your primary flight instructor. Bring me whatever you're struggling with and we'll work through it together at your pace.
I have 3 years of pilot training from Embry Riddle and SCA AZ and a fresh perspective on passing FAA examinations. I am interested in helping students obtain the training they need to supplement their self-study and get them ready for the checkride.

# FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) — One-on-One Pilot Tutoring
Already in flight training but need some extra help outside of your regular lessons?
I'm an FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) offering personalized, one-on-one aviation tutoring for student pilots and certificated pilots who want additional help understanding the material, preparing for a checkride, or simply becoming more knowledgeable and confident pilots.
My tutoring is designed to **supplement your existing flight training**, not replace your primary flight instructor. Bring me whatever you're struggling with and we'll work through it together at your pace.
# Areas I Can Help With
• Private Pilot and Commercial Pilot knowledge
• FAA Airman Certification Standards (ACS) review
• Checkride and oral-exam preparation
• Aerodynamics and principles of flight
• Aircraft systems
• FARs and operating regulations
• Airspace and airport operations
• Aviation weather and weather products
• Navigation and flight planning
• Aircraft performance
• Weight and balance
• Aeronautical decision-making and risk management
• Radio communications and procedures
• Scenario-based questions
• Chair-flying and procedure review
• FAA knowledge-test concepts
• General aviation knowledge refreshers
Sessions are personalized around **what you need help with**. If there's something your regular instructor covered that still doesn't quite make sense, bring it to the session and we'll break it down from a different perspective.
I use FAA resources and the applicable ACS whenever possible so that you're learning the material in the context in which the FAA expects you to understand and apply it.
# Who This Is For
**Student Pilots:** Get additional help between lessons without changing instructors.
**Checkride Applicants:** Practice oral questions, ACS scenarios, and weak knowledge areas before your practical test.
**Certificated Pilots:** Brush up on regulations, aerodynamics, weather, systems, procedures, or other areas where your knowledge has gotten rusty.
**Future Pilots:** Learn aviation fundamentals before or during the beginning stages of flight training.
# How It Works
Sessions are conducted one-on-one online and tailored to your individual needs.
You don't need to follow a predetermined curriculum. Tell me what you're working on, send me the topic or ACS area ahead of time if you'd like, and we'll focus the session where it will help you most.
**Rate: $30-45/hour**
My goal is simple: help you understand the material—not just memorize enough answers to pass a test.
Your primary flight instructor can remain responsible for your overall training program, flight training, required endorsements, and checkride preparation. Think of me as an additional aviation resource you can call when you want another instructor's explanation or some focused one-on-one practice.
