About Dr Alex
I’m Dr Alex Scott, a qualified teacher with a PhD in Psychology and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I bring over 10 years of experience teaching psychology, research methods, and statistics, alongside an extensive background in psychological research. I’ve led university-level programmes, developed psychology modules, and contributed to nationally funded projects—so I understand both the academic and practical sides of the subject. My tutoring is friendly, enthusiastic, and supportive. I’m passionate about teaching and psychology, and I love helping students build confidence, master complex ideas, and succeed at every level—from GCSE and A-level to undergraduate and postgraduate study. I’m a qualified teacher and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy with a PhD in Psychology and over 10 years’ experience.
