About Jaime
Hello!
I've been a tutor three years now, helping dozens of students. If you are interested, I'd be happy to put you in contact with some of them so that you can chat about anything you're interested.
The thing I enjoy most about teaching is listening to my students and learning about them. When I can help with a tough concept or methodology, I believe I make the highest impact if I can relate my presentation to how the student thinks or reckons already known matters.
This is the reason why I mostly avoid memorizing stuff. It's true that sometimes we're required to know things by heart, but that's not how I enjoy learning things, and so I project that during my lessons.

My top priority is to make my pupils understand their subjects at a fundamental level while making the lesson entertaining. I achieve this by involving them as much as possible and using their current understanding of things to build up new concepts.
I take an empathetic approach, recognizing my own limitations. It's not rare that my students teach ME when things get confusing!
