About Taylor
I recently got started teaching by having my swim instructor himself teach me more about swimming even after graduating college. I've really been teaching all my life in other ways so whenever I learned how to swim which was when I was a small child, I inturn taught others as well. Funny enough I was asked to teach someone in my building who desired to learn how to swim and I taught their entire family how to improve their stroke significantly.
I've been in the water all my life and swimming profoundly since I was 13. I swam in highscool, going to states all 4 years (winning states in my junior and senior year of highscool getting gold medals in both years) and I swam in college as well, winning conference in my freshman year. I graduated college with a Bachalors of Science in Communications and a Business minor. I am a very effective communicator and since I've been a swimmer for so long I know exactly how to teach someone to become a world class swimmer themselves if need be. Besides that I am an Ocean Resuce Beach Lifeguard so I have lots of experience in saving lives so I can do just about anything that needs to be done in the water including water safety 😄👍🏿

My typical process includes assessing the new students level of competency in terms of swimming ability and then asking them what they desire to learn in regards to swimming and even what type of person they seek to become or be since swimming itself is not only about the stroke or the style but about the development of the swimmer him or herself.
I've worked with people of all ages basically. From kids around the ages of 8 to adults around the age ranges of 40's and 50's.
The advice i'd give the student is, don't just look for the most competent swim teacher in terms of how many people they've taught or how long they have swam, but look to the character and the heart of the instructor themselves and assess whether or not you'd enjoy an experience of teaching under their wing! Life is to be enjoyed, the experience of life is a learning lesson but learning can be ecstatic you have the right mindset 😇
A recent event I am fond of is having the opportunity to teach a new born child how to swim! I will be there to expeicne the birth of a beautiful newborn child named Chakra. I met the mother not too long ago at the beach and I will be teaching her how to swim so she has the capabilities to take care of herself whenever she is in the water.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
The students should think about who they currently are, who they want to be, and how athletic or fit they want to become. On top of that the students should think about what kind of swimmer they want to become, what strokes they want to master and also if they indeed want to perfect their character and become the greatest version of themselves. ✊🏿

Details
I charge a flat fee of $80 per hour 😁 and if I have to travel to you it would be $80 for a swim lesson plus the traveling fee for me to get there which would most likely be through Über 🙏🏿.
