The first meeting is free. That gives us a chance to get to know each other a little and :
1. Establish the student's level in the desired language.
2. Review the student's goals and deadlines if applicable.
3. Discuss how the student learns best and why.
If we both agree, we set up a time for the first paid class.
After this initial class the student can decide to continue learning with or not.
If we continue working together, there will be opportunities for feedback, to make sure the student is satisfied.
I teach Grades 5 into adulthood. Whether you are a beginner or advanced, looking for conversational skills or help with pronunciation...or maybe the language has you totally confused and you just need someone to explain it to you -I can help.
Make sure you are getting the most time possible to speak in your target language. Beyond that it is just a matter of personality and teaching modalities.
I homeschooled my son this past year and he went from learning how to sound out letters to make words last spring to reading 3rd Grade level chapter books. Amazing.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What language do I want to learn?
Why? What do I envision doing with this language skill?
Am I ready to dedicate myself to learning this language?
What type of learner am I? How do I learn best?
What is my schedule? When I am available to take classes?
What is my budget?
As a higher skill learner: What skill am looking to perfect? What is the deadline I want to set for myself? When is the test?!

So great with my son’s class, sweet, kind, considerate and understanding. Would definitely recommend!
She was patient and explained things in a way that was easy to understand. She was fun to work with and I learned a lot.
Nina is genuine, kind, and warm, and she truly cares for and connects with her students. I think this motivates them and helps them enjoy learning. She also makes learning fun! Both of my boys really enjoyed learning from Nina and appreciated how she was approachable when they had questions. She is a positive and encouraging teacher!
Nina is an excellent educator who works in thoughtful exercises to integrate language.
She is dedicated and well-prepared, going out of her way to find methods that work for each individual she teaches.
