About Kera
I am a 17 year old high school graduate that has succeeded in grade school. I graduated an entire year early with a cumulative GPA of 4.4. I know many different ways that can help any student achieve their academic goals (as I've practiced these tactics myself).
I enjoy helping people (especially young children) understand what they're learning about and watching them enjoy having that ability.
The little bit of training that I have comes from a mentoring program that I was a part of my last year of high school. I was a mentor to a freshman; I would meet up with her at least once a week, I would talk with her to see if she was having any problems in any of her classes, and if she did have any problems, I would help her the best way I knew how. I would also give her tips on how to properly study and prepare herself for tests, quizzes, etc.
Although I do not have explicit tutoring experience, I do know how to work with others in helping them achieve their academic goals.

When I first meet the student, I ask them a few questions about how they learn (for example, if they're a visual learner or not). I also observe how the student is during our tutoring sessions, just to get a better understanding of how the student learns and retains information.

Details
Since I don't have any tutoring experience just yet, my prices are not high as of now. However, pricing does depend on the amount of work that a student and I are working on and the amount of time we spend doing so. As of now, I will start with $30.00 an hour, however, this is subject to change due to later grown experience.
