About Brooke
I am a homeschool mom who has taught k-8 and have training as a reading tutor for kids with dyslexia. I have two sons with dyslexia and am certified in teaching Logic of English to elementry school students. I am also completing my education to become an educational psychologist. I love working with children and watching their self esteem grow when they start to catch on to new concepts.
3 of my children have learning disabilites and I started my journey by seeking help for them. I educated myself and found the best ways to support them. I now enjoy helping other children the same way I helped my own.
I am a trained Barton tutor (although I use multiple reading methods) and certified in the reading program Logic of English.

I like to get to know them by playing a game or just an informal conversation. I also start with a short assesment to see where their reading level is.
I have worked with elementry school students, most who struggle with dyslexia.
