Mary Alice has been teaching our daughter cello for the past few years. She is a very dedicated teacher, and continually goes out of her way to encourage and assist our daughter. We would recommend Mary Alice to any aspiring cellists.

I really like Mary Alice’s teaching method. She really helps me understand what I am learning. She is very nice and understanding and I really like working with her.

I took Mary Alice’s classes for years. My intonation, rhythm, and tone improved drastically with her help. Mary Alice was patient and caring. All the homework was fun and took my interests into account. When she found out I played ukulele, she incorporated it into our lessons. Even though the classes were remote, she found a way to make them interesting and productive.
Years later, I still rely on the material she taught me. Because of those lessons I took with her, I got perfect scores on sight reading and near perfect scores on scales at choir festivals auditions. I am so lucky to have taken lessons with her.
