About Doris
I am Doris and hold an MSc. in Chemical Engineering, Process Technology and I am currently enrolled in a PhD in Chemical Engineering at FSU. As a chemical engineer, I have a solid preparation in all sciences and have a long term experience tutoring peers and students in middle and high school. Math and chemistry (IB syllabus included) in all topics happen to be my favorite subjects too and I am available to tutor them for middle and high school students.
My key strength lies in relating to each student as an individual and assisting them to reach their designated goals. To achieve this objective, I simplify the complexity of the subject matter and motivate them by making them see these topics are actually interesting and fun and I help them to believe in themselves. I have worked directly with students who needed special assistance and also a small focus group while making sure no one falls behind.
The great joy in my tutoring sessions in seeing students especially those with difficulties excel. I am easy to reach and will provide fast responses. Do not hesitate to contact me.
