About Stone
Forged by Stone has been serving the Orlando area since 2020, founded by Stone Jorquera. Stone's fitness journey began in 2012, running marathons across the United States, inspired by training his father for the "MS RUN THE US" relay, which involved running 158 miles in six days. After a year and a half of training, Stone completed his first marathon, while his father successfully finished the relay. This experience led to many more marathons and an ultramarathon.
In 2015, Stone discovered CrossFit as a tool to prepare for running a marathon on the Great Wall of China. Following this achievement, he dedicated himself to CrossFit, training full-time with Derek Toshner, a three-time Tactical Strength Challenge Champion, to enhance his strength capacity and programming skills. Stone also worked with Oly Camargo Concepts and Taylar Stallings, qualifying for Wodapalooza and securing 2nd place in 2017.
In 2018, Stone took on a coaching role in Altamonte Springs, Florida, gaining community service hours and being hired immediately upon completion. He continued to train and compete, collaborating with various coaches and teams, including Waterside Elite and Ape Squad Weightlifting Team. Competing alongside CrossFit Games athletes and renowned coaches, Stone has acquired extensive knowledge and expertise, enabling him to specialize in rehabilitation, personal training, and programming. Forged by Stone Programming works off Anti Glycolytic Training principles with Overload Adaptability and Linear Progression Methodology. Daily Programming is ran from Monday to Saturday with Thursday as an Active Recovery Day.
