About Onye
I am a subject-matter expert on beaded-beads & geometric beadweaving.
I started off teaching in youth programs & bead stores. I taught classes at the Bead & Button Show in 2017. I am a teaching artist through ReGeneration Indy & I have taught classes through the Fishers Indiana Public Library's Ignite Studio & Jesse James Beads (online).
I have a Bachelors degree in Chemistry and 25+ years of working as an artist.

I encourage them to see themselves as "undiscovered artists" and embrace their creativity. I am diligent in walking them through each step of a design and patiently allow them to gain understanding of what they want to achieve and learn throughout the process.
I have worked with school-aged children as well as adult students.

Details
I price the classes based on the time needed and the complexity of the final project. Beginner-level lessons that are under one hour in length are $60. I charge for kits only when the project requires a diverse set of materials. Intermediate-advanced lessons will start at $120 with an added fee for kits.
