About Adair
I am an elementary teacher with a masters degree in special education and a lifelong learner who continues to grow my knowledge of student development and educational needs. I know the importannce of building a strong foundation of math concepts at the elementary level as a support of lifelong math success. I am excited to share the math tools and strategies I have learned in my sixteen years as an educator in Fairfax County. My goal is to make math less daunting and more manageable by building flexible thinking and problem solving skills I have gained through my continued study through professional developments such as AddVantage Math Recovery (AVMR). As a mother of three grown children, I know the value of strong math skills not only for school, but also for planning and managing personal finances. I stand ready to support students and families.
