About Zack
I've always had a passion for teaching; it started with guitar lessons, and now it has moved over to school. I teach private guitar lessons over the summers now, for I am a teaching assistant for calculus classes at my university during the school year. I currently am in calculus four; my grades in calculus 1, 2, and 3 were all A+'s. I was blessed with very good teachers, and it has allowed me to get a great grasp on the subject of math in general. From algebra to calculus, I feel extremely confident. My confidence in math, as well as my confidence in my ability to convey techniques/ideas, allows for me to be a quite sufficient math tutor. With all of this said, I rest my case; I hope I can help you, and you can help me!

First we establish what class the student is taking. From here, I see what the student is struggling with and what he is succeeding in. We do this by going over old tests/quizzes as well as future homework/practice problems that the student is assigned. I will help the student either: see what they did wrong on old tests/quizzes and help guide them to the solution, or help them start a future problem and get their mind working in the right direction.
