About Amelia
There's always more than one way to solve a problem. I strive to help each student find the way that works for them and help them to realize that learning doesn't need to be boring or hard. Over the last 10 years of tutoring, I've picked up different methods of teaching that help me adapt to the student instead of expecting them to adapt to me.
I love seeing students who came in feeling like they wouldn't be able to figure it out start to understand the material. Their confidence growth is visible and it becomes obvious that it's helping them in ways other than just the math problem they're working on while they're with me.
I have computer science and computer security degrees. During the time I was working on those I also minored in Mathematics.

My base pricing is $40 an hour. For multiple students, the first is $40 and each additional is $20.
