About Haley
In May 2021, I graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors as well as departmental honors for Outstanding Student Teacher from the University of Miami. I received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Exceptional Student Education with endorsements in Reading and ESOL and double majored in Spanish. I am a graduate of the Literacy Specialist Masters program at Columbia University Teacher's College. I am a passionate teacher and a forever learner!
I am currently an Elementary Education/Special Education and Spanish major. I will graduate with endorsements in Reading and ESOL. I have worked with one-on-one students for seven years and have personally tutored many students for long periods of time during the school year.

When I meet a new student I love to get to know them through an informal survey either verbal or written. This allows me to know the student and their interests which will help me make interesting activities. I also love to jump right in with whatever their area for improvement is so I can assess how they tackle the subject.

Haley worked with my daughter to improve basic school skills and was able to build a great relationship with her! She worked with her for several months and her math skills improved greatly during this time.
She was extremely attentive and organized! While we only had a few lessons to help me catch up on my school work, she stayed in consistent contact to make sure I felt comfortable with my homework and materials.
