About Aiden
I stand out due to my years of experience in chemistry and mathematics. I have a love for both fields that has been with me my whole life and has earned me a spot at Brown University in which I am completing my PhD in Organic Chemistry. I have experience in bioinorganic chemistry research and polymer chemistry. I have presented my research online at the ACS MARMS conference as well as in person at ACS San Diego. I have been a resident assistant in undergrad as well as a teaching assistant. Please ask me about my research if you are interested, I would love to talk about it!
I enjoy working with students to better understand the material they are working with. I particularly enjoy when slight tips from me spark a large movement in the students brain that guides them to find the answer themselves!
I started teaching in undergrad when my research advisor told me about their experience doing so in their undergrad. I thought I would give it a try and I really enjoyed working with students so I though that I would continue.
Education wise I have my bachelors degree in chemistry from Saint Joseph's University. I am currently attending Brown University to get my PhD. In Undergrad I was an RA, TA, and tutor which provided me skills necessary for organization and communication. I also have 4 years of research experience which has taught me a lot about the fields that I work in.

I typically go about tutoring a subject in 4 ways, first I would like to assess what it is that we are trying to learn and see the extent of your background in the field, next I would like to create some sample problems to assess where you are, then we could build a study plan to tackle the course and finally keep doing sample test checkups to see how we are progressing in the field.
I mainly have worked with freshman and sophomore undergrads.
I would say to make sure that the student and teacher are compatible as in communication, outgoingness and friendliness.
I am very fond of my recent trip to Europe. After graduation my girlfriend and I travelled through a few countries as a graduation present to ourselves!

Details
My standard pricing system is based on the time I work with the student and the extent of the material. Things like elementary math and pre-calc do not make me exert myself so I would charge less for those fields. Upper level chemistry would be the top of my price range.
