About Rahul
I am a current high school senior able and qualified to tutor. I can provide help in the subject areas of Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, and basic arithmetic as well as all aspects of English and Reading Comprehension. Since my sophomore year I have been providing tutoring services to students in my high school as the Tutoring Service Coordinator for the National Honors Society. Currently I serve as the President of NHS and continue to manage, coordinate, and provided tutoring services to underclassmen in my high school. I am in the top 10 percent of my class and have a 4.0 GPA. As a tutor I look to give my students as much practice as possible during my sessions to ensure that they understand the concept at the fundamental level. I will always follow up post session as well and be available for any questions that may arise after sessions are over.
I got started teaching through my high school as a peer tutor through the National Honors Society and a variety of other volunteer services.
I am a high school senior currently with a 4.0 gpa. I am in the top 10 percent of my class and hold multiple academic achievements including AP Scholar, Multiple Honor Rolls, and President of the National Honors Society in my school.

With a new student I like to speak with them directly about their familiarity with the material at hand. I will ask what they already know and build off of that. I hope to empower the students to think on their own and make them confident in their own abilities.
I have worked with mostly 7-9th grade students
Some advice I would give a students looking to hire a teachrer is to be honest and straightforward to their tutor/teacher. Be forthcoming with what help you need and it will be a smooth process for the both of you.
