About Haley
Unique, real world experience combined with a passion for education, math and science. FREE worksheets and examples for supplementary material after sessions. I am here to support the needs and goals of each individual student.
I have loved math and science for as long as I can remember- It allows me to look at the world diffrently. Through my expereince in earning bacholor's of science in mechanical engineer and tutoring many peers and youngers students, I am prepared to help students from all backgrounds. Helping students gain knowledge and confidence in their schoolwork is my goal.
Growing up, my mother was a kindergarten teacher. I was so inspired by the idea of educating others that my favorite game growing up was "playing school." Throughout high school and college, I often tutored my peers as well as those younger than me in math and science. I even tutored the children I nannied for several years. Teaching others and spreading knowledge has always been something that I have enjoyed.
I have degree in mechanical engineering. The large majority of my undergraduate coursework was in mathematics and applied mathematics to science subjects.

When starting with a new tutoring client, I first like to understand the current struggles and future goals of the student. Through understanding the student's learning style, I strive to personalize tutoring sessions to fit the needs of each individual.
I have worked with students ranging from ages 5+. My tutorung expereince is with primary, secondary, and college aged students.

Recently, I adopted a puppy named Vinny. He has such a spunky personality and loves performing tricks (for treats of course).
