About Rebeca
I love to learn and I want everyone to be just as excited to learn new things. Sitting in a classroom is not for everyone and if I can make tutoring a form of education to look forward to and help the student learn their material, then that means I have been successful in what I have set out to do.
I am currently earning my degree in elementary education, however, I also have a fairly extensive background in biology and marine science and I have several years of Spanish in my repertoire, as well. I also love all forms of math and look at every problem like a fun puzzle, I love to get lost in reading and writing, and I am always interested in learning new and obscure things from history.
I am also an advisor for a non-profit youth organization that focuses on citizenship and leadership. I used to be a member of this organization and am proud of the fact that I get to help other kids grow to their fullest potential. I believe I can do that same thing as a tutor.
