About LAYVON
I was a biology major at Tufts University so I have a lot of experience with teaching and learning biology. I also gave test prep to many students in the past for standardized exams like the SAT, ISEE, and SSAT.
I started talking watching while I was at my undergrad at Tufts. At Tufts i ran a biology lab for our introductory course.

When it comes to SAT practice I start with a diagnostic to see what skills the specific student is lacking and as time goes on I specifically target the topics the student is lacking in. Halfway through our session I schedule a diagnostic to see where the student is at that point. Then I continue to address skills that the student needs.
I’ve worked with students that have learning impairments and need extra support so I am well equipped to customize my student plan to what ever a student needs.

Layvon is an amazing tutor. I've struggled with chemistry for a long time without much being able to help. Layvon helped me to break down problems into parts so I am not so overwhelmed by the size of the formula. He's very good at helping me to focus on the basics of solving the problem so I don't get caught up in anxiety. I really appreciated his help and his guidance.
