About William
I am a Chemical Engineer with a passion for teaching. I'm looking to tutor students in math ranging anywhere from algebra to Calculus as well as chemistry or physics.
I graduated from Texas A&M in 2017 with a bachelors in Chemical engineering and continue use my knowledge of math, chemistry and physics in my work life. I've tutored friends, family, and coworkers through classes for the last 7-8 years, but I am just beginning to do this in a formal setting. I've tutor people through College statistics, College Chemistry, Pre-Cal, Mechanical Physics and Excel-based business statistics. I've also tutored people through math, chemistry, and physics portions of the HESI, TEAS, SAT, and GRE. I'm open to teaching most forms of math or math based science.
I enjoy helping people learn. I love being there to see someone grasp a concept for the first time. There is something special about imparting knowledge from one person to another that makes me love being apart of it.
I was always a fast learner. As a high school student, we had family friends who would ask if I could tutor them in math or science. I continued the trend of tutoring friend or family that needed help throughout college and into my professional career.
I have a bachelors of science in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University. I continue to apply math and science in my career as a chemical engineer.

I've worked with students anywhere from 15 to 50. Some having almost no math background at all. I'm willing to take the time to work through problems and answer questions until they get a good grasp on the subject.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Make sure you know what your goals are. Whether that is passing a test, getting a certain grade in a class, or just improving general knowledge. Having examples of problems you are struggling with is very helpful.
