About Ming
I am very good at asking students questions and examining student work to figure out what concepts students are not getting. Then I target those mistakes to help students learn, rather than just showing student how to complete a problem procedurally. This way, students can better remember what they are doing.

I ask the student to think aloud with the work they are having trouble with, so I get a sense of how much to back up. If students don't feel comfortable doing that yet, then I ask some questions to see where they are.
