About Maya
I am a third year college student working on a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. I am very strong in areas of math and science, and was a tutor on campus. I aim to help students better understand how to approach and solve math problems that they have fallen behind on. I am friendly, patient, and encouraging, and I guarantee improvement. Due to COVID-19, I will have plenty of availability.

I first get to know them and make sure they are comfortable before we begin. I ask them how they learn best and what works for them and then begin planning to accomodate to that. I will ask for a curriculum guide or syllabus to the course they are taking and then see what they have mastered and what they are struggling with and further assist them in accordance to their unique learning style.
