About Genevieve

I provide personalized science and math tutoring, focusing on quality individualized interactions. I can help you achieve academic success. With a Master's degree in Geology and experience teaching both in person and online I am the right person to help you thrive in your studies.

I started working as a teaching assistant on and off in 2014 and spent 2017-2019 working as a teaching assistant for both in person and online courses.

I have Associate, Bachelor, and Master's of science degrees in Geology. While my degrees are in Geology I completed courses in multiple STEM fields: math (algebra through multi-variable calculus), physics, chemisty, and astronomy as well.

Degree Information: I obtained my Associate dgree from North Seattle College while a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. My Bachelor degree was granted by Western Washington Univerity where I completed a senior thesis focusing on Mars. My Master's degree in Geology was obtained at Arizona State University and included a thesis focusing on Mars.

About the lesson

Out first meeting will take approximately an hour, durring which we will discuss your specific needs. We will discuss what course you are seeking tutoring for, assignment/test/lab due dates, and depending on time left over begin a review of your current understanding of basic course concepts. These steps allow me to customize further tutoring session to help you advance in your studies.
