About Emma
I am a Columbia University 2022 graduate and current fellow at Harvard University, who is specialized in tutoring mathematics, biology, chemistry, SAT/ACT, as well as consulting for college applications.
I have over 8+ years of tutoring experience and can provide references upon request. I would love to help you and/or your student academically succeed!
I am excited and passionate about the academic success of others. I believe that education is an incredible lifelong journey and I hope that, through tutoring, I am able to help others see this too.
I was a volunteer tutor in high school and have loved teaching since. Throughout high school and college, I have tutored various ages, skill levels, and subjects while helping over 20 individual students achieve their academic goals.
I have tutored students ranging from 8-25 years old in mathematics, statistics, biology, chemistry, English, SAT/ACT prep, and college applications.
I have a B.A. in biology and computer science from Columbia University in the city of New York, where I graduated in the top 25% of my class.
I was a straight-A student in high school, where I graduated top 1% of my class and received complimentary scores on AP exams and SAT/ACT.

I will work with students to find a teaching approach that fits best with their learning style. We will have fun, engaging lessons that challenge students and ensure understanding.

I also have experience working with students with learning disabilities, such as selective mutism. I have learned how to patiently and effectively work with these students.
