About Hao
I guide students to the answer, and allow students to solve problems themselves. Also, I help them understand why you do something instead of just stating the steps.
I love watching the light bulb moments occur in others, and I enjoy teaching others. Helping others understand what they are learning always makes me happy.
I started out helping my friends at school with tough subjects. Every time, they would say that they understand the subject better and that I am a great teacher. From this, I realized that I could help people beyond just my friends. I could help people in my community or help tutor young people with subjects that I have already learned.
I have helped people in middle school understand algebra and geometry in a classroom environment for a Peer Educator Program. I have taken many difficult AP classes such as Chemistry, Physics, Government, Literature, World History, US History, and Calculus AB, and I have passed all of the exams. I have helped many of my friends at school with each of these subjects and they always understand the subject better after speaking with me.

I introduce myself and ask what they are trying to learn. I look at the general topic and choose ways to divide the topic into smaller learning chunks. After that, I will ask them to try a few problems to see where he is at. Then, I will praise them for what they did well and reinforce concepts they didn't understand completely. Throughout the process, I will ask questions about why they should do a certain step and explain the reasons why they do something.
