About Nick
I got started tutoring during my university studies. When students figure out difficult concepts both the student and I rejoice.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics with 10 years of tutoring experience. I have taught at community college, tutored at university and been a full time teacher.

I make the student feel as comfortable as possible, knowing that many students have had previous difficulty with math. I look to ensure the student has the appropriate background knowledge for the topic at hand. I do everything possible to set the student up for success, so they can develop confidence in their abilities.
I have worked with all types of students including developmentally challenged students, students who have always struggled with math, all the way to A students wanting advanced tips.
Find a tutor who not only has subject knowledge, but also ability and experience simplifying complex concepts down to the student's level. I have all of that.
Students should try the problem if they can. If a student is stuck, get help before frustration and discouragement sets in. Be sure to bring the full set of instructions and exercises.

Often, a problem may have many different approaches. For me to see which approach your teacher is using, will help us tremendously, so I can adjust and use that approach instead of a method completely new to the student

Details
For in person sessions, my standard price is $30 per hour. However, discounts are available for close to my home or higher for students outside of Tarrant County.
For online lessons, my standard fee is $20 per hour.
