About Greg
My name is Greg Kinzler and I graduated from Penn State Behrend in December of 2020 with a mechanical engineering degree. During my time at Penn state I attend a 3.67 GPA and was given the opportunity to serve as a teachers assistant in strength of materials I, strength of materials II, and MATLAB programming. In these positions I help professors teach labs, grade assignments, and help students that were struggling. I have also held positions tutoring on campus and have tutored privately during my summers. I have also completed internships at GE transportation as a turbocharger design intern, and McKamish construction as an HVAC estimator.
I am open to tutoring all maths from trigonometry to differental equations. I can also help with many physics classes including mechincs of materials, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and elctromagnitism.

I love giving others the tools to succeed in their lives. Knowledge is the key to everything and once you have a strong foundation it can become fun! (Yes, even math)
I just liked helping other students in my classes succeed. By helping others I was better able to increase my understanding of the subject.
I have a mechanical engineering degree from Penn State, have held teaching assistant jobs in the past, and have tutored students during my free time.

I usually start by seeing where the students knowledge on the subject is at by letting them try to solve problems on their own and finding where their understanding breaks down. From there we can look at the foundations of the problem and begin to build up from their. I try to make the students come to a conclusion on their own.
Mostly college students. Everyone from freshman to seniors.
