About Julianne
I have tutored many different students, both here in Albuquerque and in Eastern North Carolina. I spent 15 years homeschooling my two children (one of whom is now in graduate school and the other is now in college at UNM). Over the years I have worked with a couple of different tutoring schools, and also taught developmental math for 5 years (from integers up through Algebra II) at a community college in North Carolina.
I use a variety of approaches to teach math concepts, depending on the student's learning style. I love meeting new students and work to tie problems in with their interests.
Teaching one-on-one is my favorite way to teach. I love figuring out what kind of method will work best teaching my students. I also love math!

Perfect! Julianne has been wonderful! She and my daughter have developed a Teacher/student learning methodology that has proven to work very well. Some of the current teaching models being used in the classroom are not in a sequence and my daughter expresses that there are transitional gaps that she is unable to Identify. Julianne recognized those gaps and provided better foundations for my daughters overall Math capabilities.
