I had the best experience with Academy of Cosmetic Art. It has been almost 2 years since I graduated the Academy with an award of Best Makeup Artist in Commercial use makeup for Film and Television. I was so glad I found Rose Hill through Scandalous Salon's highly recommendation and was interested in taking a Stage Makeup Class so I could do makeup for a Pageant show. I then discovered Rose's Makeup Program at the Academy Of Cosmetic Arts and signed up for it. WOW!!!! I had no idea how intensive this program was until I saw the class's schedule with all Makeup topics including natural makeup to Corporate Makeup, TV, Film, Fashion, HD makeup, Bridal, Special Effects, Fantasy Art... and portfolio building opportunity with amazing photographer Eddie Cotillon.

It was so COOL to see how happy Rose Hill's clients, students, and models that have kept coming back for many years expressed their sincere experience working with Rose and her team!!!! I really really love Monday night Makeup Art Classes with Rose Hill and her team at the Academy of Cosmetic Arts. My imagination and creativity are running wild here! From the first class, I won a class challenge to be on set assisting Rose Hill for an awesome photo shoot with the Book Author William Austin White, and his wife-coauthor, Photographer Lenny Li and team. I also had great times learning from Rose's guest instructors including Professional Makeup Artist Michelle Snyder who taught us beautiful Bridal Makeup looks; Claudia Korrnaros and Elisabeth Kornaros showed us different Bridal Hairstyles that looked sophisticated; Celebrity Film and TV and Wardrobe Makeup Artist - Holly Ruth came to share her experience working on sets and taught us H.D. RedCam, Film, Corporate Business Makeup looks; Julian Bruno Bonfiglio who was featured on Season 8 FACE OFF taught us super cool Special Effects makeup that was out of this world!; Award Winning Vanessa Blanche Lee from Atelier Beaux Studios came to show us super creative Fantasy Art Makeup looks that was so unique!; and last but not least was a special appearing of Jack Hutchenson - Agent/Director from Boom Models and Talent was invited to share his industry wisdom and how to get represented by an accomplished agent.

WOW!!!! all this was covered in 8 Mondays classes that took me years trying and learning all this time and still haven't come close to what I've learned from this program!!!
I AM EXTREMELY IMPRESSED!!!!! I wish I took this Makeup program a lot sooner, I would be more successful as a Hair & Makeup Artist by now! Now that I am about to graduate with a certificate of completion, I am so happy and excited for many up coming internships and amazing opportunities to work on sets at fashion shows, weddings, TV and movies as a licensed professional Hair and Makeup Artist. Best of all I know that there are more specific classes I would love to further advance my education and I am so excited about it too!
