As a fellow PATH instructor, I hold Nina's innovative program, Happy Trails Horsemanship and Literacy Program, in the highest regard. She uses her gifts and talents to blend a love of literacy and passion for horses into a unique opportunity for children of all ages. Having ridden horses for 63 years, I experienced the joy of driving. Under her expert guidance, I am learning to harness and drive a horse and cart. What a sheer delight!

My kids loved all the hands on learning Nina have and the care for each kids Is individual need. They looked forward to working with sasha and learning what it took to work with her and learn to drive and everything in between. They also looked forward to checking out horse books and then writhing a short report in order to get extra sasha time!! I highly recommend working with Nina and Happy Trails program! !!

The instructor, Nina Turley, thoroughly knows horses and horsemanship and presents the information in a fun and engaging way. She also takes care of her students and makes certain that safety is paramount. Her pony, Sasha, is a perfect little lady and takes care of her students teaching them to have love and compassion for the horse. This program is a marvelous vehicle to teach reading and writing, taking it out of the classroom and making it a fun expression of what the kids love...horses.

My daughter grew in confidence in reading, writing and horsemanship at Happy Trails! She learned so much as Nina shared her knowledge and experiences of horses. Clear instruction and a generous amount of patience were given at each lesson. My daughter bonded with Sasha. She loved grooming Sasha, and driving the cart. I highly recommend Happy Trails!
