About Sooin J
I bring more than 7 years of experience in tutoring writing. I was previously employed by Georgetown University to tutor writing to college students for two years. I started advising students on college app essays from 2021, and I have been truly enjoying it ever since! My previous clients got into University of Southern California, UCLA, University of Hong Kong, National University of Singapore, Korea University, and Yonsei University.
The first session will involve consulting students about their interests and goals. This is to make sure that the essays accurately reflect who they are. After the first session, the next 3-5 sessions will entail the writing process for each essay.
I am a writer myself (with a few publications online and in print), and I truly enjoy empowering others to become writers. I especially love working with young adults with lots of dreams and ambitions! My role is to empower them to tell their own stories and help them get closer to their goals.

Details
I only charge when the essay is DONE! If the student was unable to use my service to finish my essay, I will not charge you. I charge 300 USD for Personal Statment, which is the main essay on the Common App and 150 USD per additional supplementary essay.
