About Jill
I love to learn and I love to help others learn. History, government, english and Bible are my top areas of interest. I was valedictorian of Flowing Wells High School in 1981 and of Hillsdale College in 1985, with a double major in History and Political Economy. I have actively taught Bible study for the past 30 years. I taught Sunday School to all ages, from kindergarten to adult, for many years. I have also taught sewing classes in my home. I homeschooled two elementary school boys full time for a year and part time for 2 years. I taught them elementary science through AIG and traditional math, as well as history, reading, spelling, grammar, and Bible. Most recently I taught literature and writing for 10th and 11th grade on line to one student. I became a student of the US Constitution and started participating in elections when I was a young teen, so I have a good, working knowledge of American Government. I would love to help your children grow into life-long learners.
I love seeing a student's eyes light up when they finally understand something that has just clicked! Creating readers and a love of learning is one of the most valuable gifts we can give to our children.
