About Richard
My name is Richard, I have been teaching, piano, guitar, voice, opera, music theory, music performance, singing, drums, for more then 25 years. I have my own studio with all you need to study and become the best musician you can be, or I can travel to you!. - Music is a universal language of its own.
I teach from 6 - 70 years of age. I also teach special educational techniques for students with a disability. Feel free to give me a call! "Lets create beautiful Music together" - "KEEP A SMILE ON YOUR FACE AND A SONG IN YOUR HEART, AND THE WORLD WILL SING IT'S BEAUTIFUL SONG!" I am a certified Music Teacher, as well as a certified Music Therapist. I received numerous awards from the city of New York: Certificate of Excellence, An Appreciation award for fundraising- Cancer and Diabetes Foundation, a New York State Assembly award for Excellence, a New York City Council Citation award from the Mayor of New York.
My passion for teaching goes beyond words! - Let me teach you about the theory of music and how wonderful and rewarding it is to be a musician and to perform in front of an audience, which I continue to do. What a wonderful gift music is, and to share it with the world and hold it in your heart, is really very special!
