We feel very fortunate to have found Felix as a guitar teacher for our son, who began taking lessons with Felix four years ago when he was 5. Felix is so good with kids and connecting with them. He brings fun and humor to his lessons, while teaching difficult concepts and techniques. Felix is able to read a child's mood and recognize a child's learning style so that he can be an effective teacher for every child on any given day. Our son has loved having Felix as his teacher!

Felix is so fun and engaging with young music students. Our two children play guitar and ukelele with him. Felix is excellent at figuring out what each child is interested in, and starting there to build up their skills and abilities. He gives them truly excellent, high-level musical instruction, yet also makes the process fun, encouraging their creativity too. He's just wonderful with kids!

My son has been learning Guitar with Felix for over a year and his interest keeps growing as he’s making progress. Felix is amazing working with kids. He is patient, fun and passionate. He really observes in class and clearly knows my son’s level and progress so he always gets to the point in teaching and inspiring. What I like about Felix’s teaching is he always try to push my son to go a bit further and believes in him. Every time my son made it, he was so encouraged and wanted to learn more. Felix is creative and also embraces creation made by his student. He responded to my son’s ideas in free play and led it to a even funner piece. Felix takes it seriously and puts his talent in helping my son to fulfill a wish of playing a favorite tune (outside of the Suzuki book) by producing the song, instructing step by step, making the recording and leading rehearsals. My son is not only learning skills but also getting ideas of being a guitarist from Felix.

Felix is a wonderful teacher, patient, fun and a great listener. We are fortunate to have Felix teach our daughter classical guitar; she looks forward to each lesson and leaves feeling accomplished. He brings just the right level of challenge at the right time so that our daughter continues to grow and develop as a musician. We highly recommend Felix as a guitar teacher.
