About Justin
I have structured curriculums to help achieve your goals quickly! Included with the rate are custom-written notes summarizing concepts after every lesson, along with specific practice tips and tricks.
I enjoy helping people learn and experience the joy of music. Seeing students progress and the smile of satisfaction on their face makes it all worth it for me!
I first started teaching colleagues in my piano program at college. I ended up really enjoying it and had a natural talent for it, the rest is history!
I have a BA in Classical and Jazz Piano Studies and Music Education from MSU Denver.
I've been teaching full-time for over 10 years to all ages and levels, extensive experience with kids.

I assess and cater to the student's level, musical goals, wants and needs. Depending on their level I have a standard curriculum for beginners, or if they're advanced, whatever the student would like to go over.
Every kind! From young kids ages 3 - 6, elementary age children, teenagers, college students, young adults, even seniors!
Look for teachers that have a music or music education degree, examples of their playing on social media (Instagram, YouTube) and can provide tangible notes of lesson plans or lesson summarys and show exactly how a student can get from Point A to Point B
Also look for teachers that have experience teaching more than just one style of music or instrument!

Think about your long-term goals, what's your dream scenario 2-3 years from now? What would you like to accomplish or what level would you like to get to in that amount of time?
What are your favorite songs? What made you interested in learning an instruement?
Are you willing to invest the time to practice every day to achieve your goals?

As a beginning/intermediate keyboard player, Justin was able to get me on the right track to increasing my ability to become a better player and overall musician. His expertise with classical and jazz styles, as well and any other musical style, made him the right fit as a teacher for me. He has a very personable, patient teaching style that I found very refreshing. I would highly recommend Justin as a teacher to anyone, from beginners to advanced players!
